Presentation Summary:

A critical evaluation of recent Supreme Court’s work.  Talk looks at last term on abortion, guns, religion and free speech.  Course will also look at cases before the Court now, including on affirmative action, the power of state legislatures over elections, a 1st amendment right to discriminate


About Our Speaker:

Professor of Constitutional Law, UC Hastings.  Previously 29 years with the American Civil Liberties Union, ending as Deputy National Legal Director.
