Presentation Summary:

This presentation will provide a comprehensive look at when and why a trust may be named as the beneficiary of an IRA or qualified plan, with a focus on the tax, control, and asset protection implications—especially in light of changes under the SECURE Act.

  • Explain how the SECURE Act impacts trust planning for retirement account beneficiaries, including eligible designated beneficiary rules.
